SPRING IMAGES FROM THE FRENCH QUARTER OF NEW ORLEANS, LA
” I enjoyed the adventure of looking for interesting things to photograph in the French Quarter! The summer heat had not set in yet, in fact, we got to enjoy morning showers while having beignets and coffee. The sound of jazz musicians could be heard in the background as well as the Catholic church bells. We walked most of the streets after the rain stopped peering through gates and windows exploring the narrow streets filled with emerging activities on this Sunday afternoon. These are some of the things that I was drawn to. Certain images I have treated as straightforward photography others I have developed more in a mixed media fashion.
